In September of 2000 Sarah and I were at the Seattle YEO Chapter retreat that I was chairing and she knew I had a ring but I led her to believe I had left it at home.....I must say it became impossible to get her to go for a walk to the covered bridge with me since it was raining and the Westin Bar with all of our Seattle friends was so cozy, especially next to the fire place.  None the less I did ask her to Marry me and she did say yes.
