| Retreat - Ski-Doo - PoliceIt was our first forum retreat and actually our first activity. A beautiful Ski-Doo ride!We had not made 500 feet that a policeman in ski-doo arrests us. | Trip to CubaI wrestled with joining WEO for a couple of weeks back in 1997 and finally decided the initiation fee and yearly dues were going to be worth the price. Within a month of joining, I got an email from YEO/WEO headquarters that they had arranged a special "cultural exchange" trip for 150 members to Havana, Cuba leaving from Miami. | My Once in a LifetimeI've had many Once-in-a-Lifetime experiences over the last 7 years in EO. My most memorable was when I chaired GLC in Washington, DC in 2005. Chairing the conference in inself was amazing, but interviewing Jack Welch put the experience over the top for me. I also was able to spend some personal time with Jack and he was extremely gracious and candid. When I joined YEO in 1995 there were about 300 members and a small staff of people (most of which were volunteer) behind the scenes making it all happen. People like Doug Mellenger, Richard Bright, Keith Alpers, Vern Harnish, and a lot of others too numerous to name…all sharing a common goal of creating an Entrepreneurial organization of unprecedented quality.
