What I am doing by night...
Married, Father of two, I spend lots of time with my kids….because I like it. My daughter is now 3 and my son is 1.
What I am doing on weekends… Love the Edge, Mountain Bike, Poker, Hockey, Full day with the kids.
My Views:
On life:
You get what you put in. Perspective is everything. At one point, I will die…and so will you.
I have been lucky, I haven't faced adversity, still it doesn't permit me to pass through life like a zombie. For inspiration, I talk to people who have faced adversity, Refugees, people who have been through wars or have faced death. These people know what's important in life.
On parenting:
The message from my kids is clear. They don't care about the house, the car, the toys. They care about me being there and playing with them. They care for my presence and my undivided attention. Giving the bottle while watching TV is not being there. Giving the bottle while signing is being there.
On other parents:
I respect every other type of parenting out there... as long as the parent has made his research and compared other parenting methods and decided this was the best. I have huge issues with parents taking decisions based on nothing else than naysay or raising their children based on THEIR needs. I will stop right here before I go crazy.
On business:
To me, a Business is a form of expression for an entrepreneur. Thus the role of a business in an open democratic society is vital if this society is to flourish… The downfall of the business model is when the business portion of society becomes too big of an actor in the democratic process. This is what I think has happened in the last 20 years… A bizarre conclusion might be the implosion of a democracy created by the business and the business can't exist without a democracy…. Dog eats Dog…

On Society:
I live in what I call Perfectown North America. Kentucky Blue Grass lawn, 2,000sq/ft home, 1.7 cars, 1.5 dog and 3.2 kids… right in the average. I open up my eyes to what is out there and I am extremely lucky to have been born/raised in Perfectown North America.
I question myself a lot on what my Perfectown will look like for my kids in 20 years.
